Golden age of general relativity

Okay little one, so you know how we have gravity? Well, a super smart scientist named Albert Einstein figured out a really cool way to understand gravity in a new and better way. He created something called the theory of general relativity.

This theory was created about 100 years ago, in a time when many scientists were also making big discoveries in science and technology. This time is called the "golden age" of general relativity because it was a really exciting time for science!

Einstein's theory of general relativity helped us understand how space and time are related, and how gravity can affect both of them. It was really hard for people to understand at first, because it was different than what anyone had ever thought before. But, with time, people started to realize how awesome it was!

Scientists all over the world started to use Einstein's theory to do new and amazing things, like figure out how stars work and how the universe is put together. Without the theory of general relativity, we wouldn't have made a lot of the big discoveries we have today!
