ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Google Authenticator

Google Authenticator is like a password that offers an extra layer of security to help keep your online accounts extra safe. It's kind of like an extra lock that you put on the front door of your house when you go out. When you sign in to your account, you enter your normal username and password like usual. Then, you enter a special code from Google Authenticator that changes every few seconds. Without that special code, someone trying to get into your account won't be able to get in, so your account will stay safe.
