Gothic Revival

Alright kiddo! So, a long, long time ago, people used to build big, fancy buildings that had lots of decorations on them. One of the styles of decoration was called Gothic, which came from medieval times.

But then, people stopped building those kinds of buildings and started making new ones that looked different. However, some people really liked the old Gothic style, so they started building new buildings that looked like the old ones. This happened a few hundred years ago and it was called Gothic Revival.

So, today, when you see a building that looks really old with lots of pointy arches and windows, it might be a Gothic Revival building made by people who liked the way things looked a long time ago.
