Gothic runic inscriptions

Okay, so you know how sometimes people write letters to each other, right? Well, a long time ago there were people who wrote in a special way that we call "gothic runic inscriptions."

Now, these people didn't use the regular alphabet like we do. Instead, they used special symbols that were carved or drawn onto things like stones or metal. These symbols were called "runes."

Each rune stood for a different letter or sound, kind of like how we use the letters A, B, and C. But instead of just writing words like we do, these people used the runes to write important messages or even make cool designs.

Sometimes, you might see gothic runic inscriptions on things like old buildings or ancient artifacts. They can be really interesting to look at and can teach us a lot about the people who used to use them.
