Arctangent is a mathematical function that lets us figure out what angle something is, like if you were drawing a triangle and wanted to know what is the angle of one of its corners. To do this, you can use the arctangent function. It takes two numbers as inputs (called 'x' and 'y') and then tells you what angle is formed by the line that goes through those two points. For example, if x is 3 and y is 4, the angle is 53.13 degrees.
