Governor-Generalship of the Steppes

Alright kiddo, so the governor-generalship of the steppes was like having a really important boss who was in charge of a really big area of land called the steppes. The steppes are kind of like a big grassy plain in a far-away country called Russia. The governor-general's jobs were very important because they had to make sure everything in the steppes was working properly and people were happy and safe. It was like being the boss of the biggest office you've ever seen, but instead of people, it was a whole bunch of land and animals. The governor-general had to work really hard to make sure everything was running smoothly, just like how your teacher works hard to make sure your classroom runs smoothly.
