Grand Tour

Okay kiddo, have you ever heard of a Grand Tour? It's kind of like a really long vacation that people used to take a long time ago.

Back in the olden days, when people were rich, they would go on a Grand Tour of Europe. Basically, they would travel around to different countries and cities for months or even years! Imagine going on a really long road trip but instead of just driving, you get to see different cultures and landmarks.

During these tours, rich people would often visit places like France, Italy, and England. They would go to fancy parties, see famous art and architecture, and learn about history and culture. Some people even brought their own cooks and servants on the trip!

Nowadays, people still go on Grand Tours, but it's not as common. It's usually something people do after they retire or if they have a lot of money to spare. But it's still a really cool way to see the world and learn about other cultures.
