ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Grass skiing

Okay kiddo, have you ever heard of skiing? It's where you glide down a snowy mountain on two sticks called skis. Well, grass skiing is a bit like that, except instead of snow, we do it on grass.

So imagine you're on a grassy hill, and you have these really long skis strapped to your feet. But instead of sliding down on snow, you have to push yourself forward on the grass using your legs and poles. That's because grass isn't as slippery as snow, so it doesn't let you slide like on a snow-covered mountain.

Grass skiing is a bit like rollerblading or ice skating too because you have to use a lot of balance and coordination to stay upright. And instead of going straight down a hill, you can also go from side to side and zigzag your way down.

It's a fun way to enjoy the outdoors and get some exercise too! But remember to wear a helmet and protective gear to stay safe and have fun!
