Gravity (beer)

Gravity (beer) is a measure of how heavy a beer is. It's not how heavy the beer can feel in your hand, but how much sugar the beer contains. Sugar makes beer heavier, so the more sugar in the beer, the higher its gravity. This is important to brewers because the higher the gravity, the stronger or higher in alcohol the beer will be.
