Greater India is like a big family of countries that share a lot of similarities in their culture, religion, and language. It includes countries like India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan, and some parts of Myanmar and Afghanistan.
Just like how you have a family with your mom, dad, brothers, and sisters, these countries all have a lot in common because they used to be part of the same big family a long time ago. They all used to be ruled by big empires such as the Maurya, Gupta, Chola, and Mughal empire, which helped spread their culture, religion, and language across different parts of the region.
People in Greater India speak similar languages like Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, and Urdu, and some are even written in the same script. They also follow the same religion like Hinduism, Buddhism, and Islam. They celebrate similar festivals like Diwali, Eid, and Holi.
So just like how you and your siblings may share some of the same toys or games, these countries all share some of the same traditions and ways of life. By working together and respecting each other's differences, they can continue to build a strong family bond within Greater India.
