Greek statue

A Greek statue is a special kind of artwork that was made in ancient Greece a really long time ago, like more than 2,000 years ago! The statues were usually made out of stone or bronze, which is a type of metal. They showed people or animals, and they were used to tell stories, worship gods and goddesses, and decorate important buildings.
