Green parties

A Green Party is a political party that focuses on making sure the environment is taken care of. It is called a Green Party because they focus on taking care of the planet, making sure things like forests and lakes are protected, and that we don't do things that hurt the environment, like cutting down trees or polluting the air with smoke. They also focus on making sure everyone has clean drinking water and fresh air to breathe. They believe that taking care of the planet is important for everyone - it helps keep us healthy, keeps animals and plants happy, and helps us enjoy our lives more.
