Green politics

Green politics is a way of thinking about our planet and how we can work together to make it a better place. Green politics focuses on the environment and working to protect things like air and water quality, wildlife and plants, energy resources, and the climate. Green politicians want to decrease the amount of pollution and waste produced by people, and make sure people are using energy and other resources in an environmentally-friendly and sustainable way. This means using sources of energy that don’t harm the environment, like solar and wind energy, and making sure people are recycling items instead of throwing them out so that fewer things end up in landfills and poisoning the planet. Green politics also means cleaning up our oceans and rivers, planting trees, and protecting animals from extinction. Most importantly, green politics is about people coming together and deciding how they can make their planet healthier so everyone can live in a safe and healthy environment.
