Grenadine

Grenadine is a sweet and fruity liquid that you can add to your drinks to make them taste better! It comes in a bottle and is usually bright red in color. You can use it to make fancy drinks like Shirley Temples or Roy Rogers.

But how is it made? Well, it actually comes from pomegranates! Do you know what pomegranates are? They’re kind of like big red apples with lots of tiny seeds inside. When you squish those seeds and mix them with sugar and water, you get grenadine!
