Gross domestic product

Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is the total amount of money made in a country by all the people and businesses in that country in a year. It's like a big tally of all the money made! GDP is important because it tells us how well our economy is doing. For example, if GDP is growing, it means that businesses and people in that country are doing well and making more money.
