Group family

"Group family" means a group of people who are part of the same family, and who live together in one big house or apartment. The grown-ups in the group family might be parents, or maybe an aunt or uncle or grandparent, and the children might be siblings or cousins. Everyone in the group family takes care of each other and helps out with things like cooking and cleaning. It's like having a big sleepover every night!
