Guerilla marketing

Guerilla marketing is a type of marketing where people do something to get attention for a product or service in a unique and unexpected way. It's like a surprise party for a product! Instead of just making a normal advertisement on TV, guerilla marketers might do something surprising and different to get people's attention.

For example, say a new restaurant wants people to come try its food. Instead of just doing regular ads, they might have people dress up in funny costumes and pass out menus on the street. Or they might put up flyers all over town that look like lost pet signs, but instead of a lost dog, the flyer shows a picture of a delicious hamburger with the restaurant's phone number on it.

Guerilla marketing is a way to get people to notice something and remember it, like when your friend surprises you with a secret hiding spot for your snacks. And just like a secret hiding spot, guerilla marketing can sometimes be a little sneaky or tricky, but it's always meant to be fun and get people excited about something new.
