Guilá Naquitz Cave

Guilá Naquitz cave is a cave in Mexico where people used to live a long time ago. The people who lived there were called the "Laurentian" people. They used to live in the cave for many years and they left behind things that they used like food, seeds, and tools.

Scientists found these things in the cave and they studied them to learn more about the Laurentian people. They discovered that the people who lived in the cave were some of the first people to start growing their own food like beans and squash.

The cave is an important place because it helps us understand how people started farming and living in one place instead of moving around all the time. It's like looking back in time and seeing how people used to live a long, long time ago.
