Hórreo

A hórreo is like a little house where people in Spain and other countries store grains like corn, wheat, and beans. It looks kind of like a birdhouse, but it's much bigger, and it's usually made of wood or stone.

The hórreo has little legs or pillars at the bottom so that it's not sitting right on the ground. This is important because it needs to be up high to keep the grains dry and safe from rats and other creatures that might try to eat them.

The most fun thing about a hórreo is way it looks. It has a special design with little slits in the walls to let air in, but not rain. And it has a little roof that sticks out over the entrance, like a porch.

So basically, a hórreo is a special little storage house that keeps grains safe and dry, with a cool design that you can look at and maybe even play under.
