ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

HIBUFFERS (CONFIG.SYS directive)

Hi there! Have you ever heard of a computer? It's a machine that helps us do many things like playing games, watching videos and typing. And sometimes, we want our computer to work faster and better. That's where something called "hibuffers" comes in.

"hibuffers" is a special thing that we put in a file called "config.sys" on our computer. This file tells our computer how to start up and work properly. "hibuffers" helps the computer to use its memory in a better way. Memory is like a big cupboard where the computer keeps things it needs to use - like pictures, songs and videos.

But sometimes, too many things in the cupboard can slow the computer down. That's where "hibuffers" comes in. It helps to organize things in the memory cupboard so that the computer can find things faster and work better.

Think of it like this - imagine you have a toy box that's full of toys. When you want to play with a certain toy, you have to search through the whole box to find it. But if you organize the toys by putting them in different boxes or sections, it will be easier to find what you want. "hibuffers" does the same thing for the computer's memory.

So when we put "hibuffers" in the "config.sys" file, we are helping our computer work faster and better by organizing things in its memory cupboard. That's how "hibuffers" works!
