ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

HTTPS

HTTPS stands for HyperText Transfer Protocol Secure. It's a way of securely sending information over the internet. It's used to make sure that your personal information, like passwords and credit card numbers, is kept safe. HTTPS works by encryption, which means that it scrambles the data so that no one can read it unless they have the secret code to unlock it. Without HTTPS, someone could intercept the data and use it for bad things.
