Hey there kiddo!
Haemolacria is a fancy word that means "crying blood". Just like how tears are salty water that come out of our eyes when we cry, haemolacria is when blood comes out of someone's eyes instead.
This can happen for lots of different reasons, like if someone has an injury to their eye, or if they have an infection in their tear ducts. Sometimes haemolacria can happen for no reason at all, but thankfully this is very rare!
If someone is experiencing haemolacria, it's very important that they see a doctor as soon as possible to figure out what's going on and how to treat it.
I hope that helps, kiddo! Let me know if you have any more questions.
