Hague Protection of Adults Convention

So there is a big rule book called the Hague Convention that grown-ups made to help protect other grown-ups who might not be able to protect themselves. These grown-ups might be old or have a hard time making decisions on their own. The rule book is like a set of instructions for different countries so they can all work together to help these grown-ups stay safe.

The Hague Convention has a special section just for grown-ups called the Protection of Adults Convention. This part of the rule book helps different countries work together to make sure that grown-ups who need extra help or protection get it. It means that if a grown-up in one country needs help, another country will work with them to help them get that help.

These rules help make sure that everyone is working together to help grown-ups who might be in trouble. It's like teamwork to help the grown-ups who need help the most.
