ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Hanafi

Okay kiddo, there are different ways that people follow their religion of Islam. One way is called Hanafi. This is a way that some people follow to pray and live their life in a way that they believe is pleasing to God.

Hanafi is named after a man named Abu Hanifa who lived a long time ago in a place called Iraq. He was very smart and studied a lot about Islam. He came up with some ideas about how to practice Islam that some people really liked, and so they started following his way.

One thing that is different about Hanafi is how they do their prayers. Instead of putting their hands by their sides when they stand up to pray, they put their hands on their chest. And they also do some things differently when they bow and kneel during prayer.

Hanafi also has certain rules about how to do things, like how to wash before praying and how to dress. They believe that by following these rules carefully, they can get closer to God and be happier and more peaceful in their lives.

So, that's a little bit about Hanafi! It's just one way that some people choose to follow Islam, and it's important to remember that there are many different ways to practice religion.
