Hand fetishism is when someone gets really excited, happy, or ticklish when they see, touch, or think about hands!

Remember when you were a baby and your mom or dad would stroke your fingers or give you a high five? It made you feel happy and safe, right? Some people feel that same way when they see or feel hands, but even more strongly. They might really enjoy looking at pictures of hands, holding hands, or tracing the lines on someone’s palm.

It’s kind of like having a crush on someone, but instead of liking their face or hair or shirt, someone with this fetish really loves their hands! It’s important to remember that everyone’s different, so while hand fetishism might seem a little silly to some people, it’s totally normal and okay for others.
