Harmonic progression (mathematics)

Harmonic progression is when you have a math sequence where each number is the reciprocal of its position in the list. So if the list starts with 1, the second number would be 1/2, the third would be 1/3, and so on. It's called "harmonic" because it's related to the harmonic series in music, which also involves adding up reciprocals of numbers. In math, harmonic progression has some interesting properties, like never having a finite sum (meaning it goes on forever), and having a "hidden" pattern where every other term is related to the first term. You can use harmonic progression in different ways, such as calculating the average of an inverse itself.
