ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

HeLa

Hela is a special kind of cell that scientists use to study diseases and develop new medicines. They are named after a woman who had cancer and donated her cells for research. These Hela cells are really good at growing and multiplying in the lab, which makes them really useful for scientists to work with. Think of them like a superhero cell that helps scientists understand and fight diseases. But just like superheroes, scientists have to be careful not to accidentally cause harm or use them in the wrong way.
