Heart rate monitor

A heart rate monitor is a device that helps you keep track of your heart rate. It is made up of a bracelet, a watch, or a chest strap that you wear on your body that has sensors that detect the electrical signals coming from your heart. Your heart rate is measured in beats per minute (BPM). When your heart beats, it causes an electrical signal to be sent to your heart rate monitor, which then counts the number of beats each minute. By wearing a heart rate monitor, you can check to make sure your heart is beating at a healthy rate during exercise.
