Heat intolerance is when your body has trouble dealing with hot temperatures. It can make you feel uncomfortable, and make it harder for your body to cool itself off. Your body has a built-in system for cooling, like sweating and releasing heat through your skin, but heat intolerance can make this system work less well. You may feel faint, dizzy, or even sick when the temperature gets too warm around you. To help your body cope better with the heat, try to stay cool with fans or air conditioning, drink plenty of water, and take breaks if you get too hot.
