Hebrew and Aramaic Lexicon of the Old Testament

Okay kiddo, you know how we have different languages in the world, like English and Spanish and Chinese? Well, thousands of years ago, the people who wrote the Bible spoke a different language called Hebrew. And some parts of the Bible were even written in another language called Aramaic.

But sometimes, it can be hard for us to understand what these words mean today. That's why some very smart people made a big book called the Hebrew and Aramaic Lexicon of the Old Testament. It's like a special dictionary that tells us what each Hebrew and Aramaic word in the Bible means.

They studied many ancient documents and talked to experts to figure out what each word meant. This way, we can read and understand the Bible better, even though it was written a very long time ago in a different language.

So now, when we read the Bible, we can look up words in the Hebrew and Aramaic Lexicon and find out what they mean. It's like having a special codebook to help us understand a very important message!
