Hecates Tholus

Hecates Tholus is a really big hill on a planet called Mars. It's like when you build a big sandcastle at the beach, but instead of sand, it's made of rocks and dirt. Hecates Tholus is about 6.5 miles across, which is like driving 6.5 times around your neighborhood! It's also really tall - about 32,800 feet high - which is like stacking more than 6 Empire State Buildings on top of each other! Scientists like to study Hecates Tholus because it can tell them more about how Mars formed a long, long time ago.
