ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Helium planet

Imagine floating on a huge planet made out of gas, just like a big balloon filled with air. But instead of air, this planet is made out of something called helium. Helium is a gas that is really light and can make things float, just like how a helium balloon rises up in the air.

On this planet, there are no solid surfaces like the ground we stand on here on Earth. Instead, the gas gets thicker and thicker the closer you go towards the center of the planet. At the very center, the gas is so packed together that it creates a lot of pressure, which can be very powerful.

Scientists think that a helium planet might exist in outer space, but we haven't found one yet. We know about Jupiter, which is the largest planet in our solar system, and it's called a gas giant because it's made mostly of gas like helium.

So if you ever imagined floating around on a planet made out of gas, you might be imagining what it's like to be on a helium planet. It would be a strange and fascinating world to explore, but we still have a lot more to learn about it!
