Planet

A planet is a big round object that's so big it's stuck in space and doesn't orbit around anything else like the moon orbits around the Earth. A planet is made up of different materials like rocks, gas, ice, and dust, and have their own gravity that can pull other things towards them. Some planets also have an atmosphere which is like a big blanket of air that surrounds the planet. Planets are really far away from each other and they take a really long time to travel between them. There are many planets in our solar system, such as planet Earth, which is where we live!
