Henry Charles Lea

Henry Charles Lea was a man who lived a long time ago and was very interested in learning about history. He especially wanted to learn about how people thought and behaved in the past. He wrote many books about the history of important things like religion and law.
His books were very long and sometimes difficult to read, but many people thought they were very important because they helped us understand how we got to where we are today.
Even though Henry Charles Lea is not alive anymore, his books are still around and people still read them to learn about history.
