Herero and Namaqua genocide

Once upon a time, there were some people who lived in a place called Namibia. The Herero and Namaqua people were very different from other people who lived there because they had their own culture and way of doing things. But some people who thought they were more powerful than the Herero and Namaqua didn't like this and wanted to take over their land and resources.

So, they decided to hurt the Herero and Namaqua people by making them leave their homes and farms. They didn't give them any food or water, so many people died of hunger and thirst. The people who managed to escape were chased by the powerful people's soldiers and many were killed.

This hurt the Herero and Namaqua people very much and made them very sad. They lost their homes, their families, and their way of life. This was a bad thing to happen, and it made the people who did this's behavior bad too. This was called the Herero and Namaqua Genocide, which is a very big and important word. It means that people deliberately and systematically tried to wipe out a whole group of other people.

We should never forget about what happened to the Herero and Namaqua people, and we must learn from it so we can make sure it never happens again.
