Hero and Leander
Hero and Leander is a story about two people who fell in love. Hero was a very beautiful woman who lived in a tower by the sea. Leander was a very handsome man who lived on the other side of the sea. They lived about 2 miles away from each other but they could see each other across the sea.
Leander wanted to meet Hero, but he didn't know how to swim. So he decided to practice and learn how to swim across the sea to get to her. Hero was very happy when she saw Leander finally make it across the sea.
However, there was a problem. Leander could not stay at the tower forever. He had to swim back home every night. Hero and Leander were very sad and they missed each other very much whenever they were apart.
One day, Hero decided to light a lamp in the tower every night as a guide for Leander to swim to her. Leander saw the light and would swim to the tower every night to see Hero. The light led him to Hero and the two of them fell in love deeper each time they met.
Unfortunately, one stormy night, the light that guided Leander to the tower was blown away. Leander couldn't see where he was going and he drowned in the stormy sea. Poor Hero was devastated when she heard what had happened to Leander. She felt very sad and missed him very much.
The story of Hero and Leander teaches us that love is a very powerful feeling. Even when people are far apart, they can still love each other and do whatever it takes to be together.
