Hidden headlamps

Have you ever seen a cool car that seems to have no headlights? They are called hidden headlamps, because they are hidden behind the body of the car, and only pop up when it's time to use them!

When you turn on the lights on a regular car, the headlights just turn on - but with hidden headlamps, the headlights need to pop up so that they can shine in the right direction. This is done with a special mechanism that makes the headlights pop up and down like magic!

These hidden headlamps were really popular in the 60s and 70s, and were used on some of the coolest cars of that time, like the Corvette and the Camaro. They became less popular as car designs changed over time, but they still look really cool and unique today!
