The Hiding Hand Principle is the idea that when a problem arises, the best solution can often be found by looking at the way nature does things. It means that nature often knows how to solve a problem better than we do. For example, if you wanted to make a robot that could walk and balance like a person, you could look to see how animals like humans and cheetahs move and balance. By looking at how nature does things, you can work out how to design a robot to move like a real creature!
