ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

High-key lighting

Imagine you're in a room with a really bright light, like the sun. Now imagine that the whole room is just as bright as that light. That's what high-key lighting is. It's a lighting technique where everything is very bright and well-lit, with hardly any shadows.

This is often used in movies and TV shows to create a happy, cheerful, or upbeat mood. It can make everything look clean and fresh, and can make people's skin look smooth and flawless.

It's kind of like when you go outside on a sunny day and everything looks bright and happy. That's high-key lighting!
