High-maltose corn syrup

High-maltose corn syrup is a sweet, sticky liquid that is made from corn. It is used as a sweetener in many kinds of foods and drinks, like soda, candy, and baked goods.

Now, when you eat regular corn syrup, your body breaks it down into one kind of sugar called glucose. But with high-maltose corn syrup, your body breaks it down into two kinds of sugars: glucose and something called maltose, which is another kind of sugar that tastes sweet.

So basically, high-maltose corn syrup is just a sweeter version of regular corn syrup because it has more kinds of sugar in it. But like regular corn syrup, it is still a type of sugar and is not very good for your body if you eat too much of it.
