Historical sociology

Historical sociology is a type of research that looks at how different historical events have affected society. It looks at how people have acted and interacted with each other and the environment at different times throughout history. For example, a historical sociologist might study the role of religion in a past culture or the effects of colonialism on a certain population. By studying these things, we can learn more about the world today and why people act in certain ways.
