Historicism

Historicism is a way of thinking about history that looks at past events to draw conclusions about the present and future. It is based on the idea that patterns in the past can help us understand the present and make plans for the future. To put it more simply, Historicism is a way of using our knowledge of the past to try and learn about the present and predict what might happen in the future.
