History of Berlin

Berlin is the capital city of Germany, and it has a long and interesting history. For much of its history, it has been a center of culture, science, industry, and government. Berlin was first founded in the thirteenth century. Over the years, it has been ruled by many different people, including France, Prussia, and the USSR. After World War II, Berlin was divided between the Western countries and the Soviet Union until the Wall fell in 1989 and reunited the city. Since then, Berlin has undergone a major transformation and is now one of the most important cities in the world.
