History of Nintendo

Okay kiddo, so Nintendo is a company that makes video games and they have been around for a long time, almost 140 years now! But they didn't always make video games, they started out making playing cards.

In the 1970s, they started making video games and released their first console called the Color TV-Game in Japan. But it wasn't until the 1980s that they really became famous with their Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) console.

The NES was a big hit and they released lots of games for it like Mario, Zelda, and Donkey Kong. Have you heard of those games? They are still really popular today!

Nintendo kept making consoles and games over the years, like the Game Boy, Super Nintendo, Nintendo 64, and GameCube. They also came up with new characters like Kirby and Pokemon.

In 2006, they released the Wii console which was really different from other consoles because you could play games by moving around and using special controllers.

Today, Nintendo is still making new consoles and games like the Switch and Animal Crossing. They have a lot of fans all over the world who love playing Nintendo games and exploring their amazing worlds.
