History of medical cannabis

Okay kiddo, let me tell you about the history of medical cannabis.

A long, long time ago, people started using plants like cannabis to help with medical problems. In fact, some ancient civilizations like the Chinese and Greeks used cannabis for things like pain and inflammation.

But, as time went on, some people started to think that cannabis was bad and made laws to stop people from using it. This meant that even when people needed it for medical reasons, they couldn't use it legally.

But, in the 20th century, people began to realize that maybe cannabis wasn't so bad after all. In fact, some studies showed that it could be helpful for conditions like seizures, chronic pain, and nausea.

So, some places started to make it legal for people to use cannabis for medical reasons. This means doctors can now prescribe it to people who need it to feel better.

However, even though research has shown that medical cannabis can be helpful, some people still think it's bad and make laws against it. But, as more and more people learn about its benefits, they are beginning to change their minds.

So, that's the history of medical cannabis. People used it a long time ago, then it became illegal, and now it's legal in some places for medical use.
