History of the Ottoman Empire
The Ottoman Empire was like a big family that lived a long time ago in a place called Turkey. In the old days, many families lived in the same neighborhood, just like how you have lots of friends in your class at school.
The leader of the Ottoman family was called a sultan, and he was very important! He took care of all the family members and made sure everyone was happy and safe.
