Once upon a time in the past, there were two big countries called Russia and Turkey. These two countries had some disagreements and didn't always get along very well. They decided to fight each other in wars, and they had many of these wars, called the Russo-Turkish Wars.
The Russo-Turkish Wars started a long time ago, all the way back in the 17th century. Russia wanted to expand and become more powerful, but Turkey didn't like that. So, they started fighting over land and who should control it. This fighting continued for several centuries.
During these wars, many battles were fought, and lots of people were hurt or killed. Some battles were fought on land, and others were fought on the sea. Russia and Turkey wanted to win these wars very badly, and they kept trying to outsmart each other with their military tactics.
Eventually, after many years of fighting, Russia won most of the wars against Turkey. They were able to take land from Turkey and make their country even bigger. But, in the end, both countries realized that it was best to stop fighting and work together to make peace.
Today, Russia and Turkey are both very important countries that are friends. They still have disagreements sometimes, but they try to solve their problems peacefully instead of fighting like they did in the past.
