Home care in the United Kingdom

Home care in the United Kingdom means that you get help to do everyday things at your home, like bathing, cooking, and cleaning. This kind of help is usually provided to people who need extra help because they are elderly, have a disability, or are ill. People who provide this kind of help are called care workers and they are employed by companies or they work for a local government agency. They are specially trained to help the people that need the care and they make sure that the person is safe and well looked after. People who receive this kind of help receive visits from their care workers at regular times to help with things that they can't do by themselves. It helps them stay in their own homes for as long as possible.
