ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Horsebus

Horsebus is a type of transportation that looks like a big bus, but instead of using an engine to drive it forward, it uses horses to pull it along the road.

Think of it like a really big wagon, but with seats inside for people to sit on. Just like a regular bus, people would pay a fee to ride on the horsebus and the route would usually have several stops along the way to pick up and drop off passengers.

Horsebuses were very popular in the 1800s before cars were invented. They were a way for people to travel around the city without having to walk long distances. However, they were much slower than cars and could only travel short distances without needing to rest the horses.

Eventually, as cars became more popular, horsebuses started to disappear, but they were an important part of transportation history and helped shape the way people got around cities in the past.
