House of Hanover

So, there was this big family called the House of Hanover who used to rule a large country called England a long time ago. They were very important and powerful people!

The House of Hanover started when a man named George I became king in 1714. He was from a place called Hanover in Germany, so people started calling his family the House of Hanover.

George I didn't speak English very well, so he needed help ruling England. He chose some very smart and loyal people to be his advisors - they were like his helpers.

For many years, the House of Hanover ruled England with various kings and queens. They did lots of good things for the country, like making laws to help the people and building big buildings and palaces.

However, there were also some bad things that happened during the House of Hanover's rule. There were wars and fights, and some people didn't like the Hanover family very much.

Eventually, in the 1800s, the last king of the House of Hanover died without any children to take over the throne. So, the House of Hanover came to an end and a new family took over ruling England.
